Known issues

The Network Module enables the DHCP Server automatically when a factory default is performed on the system. The DHCP Server may present network conflicts.
See Disabling the Network Module’s DHCP Server procedure in the Network Configuration Guide (PDF Download).

Sometimes the microphone level is set too low upon a system factory default. The level can be user adjusted; the recommended level for Microphone 1 is +14 db.
See Setting the microphone level procedure below.

Setting the microphone level

A factory reset of the system can sometimes cause the Microphone 1 level to be set at a lower than optional setting. Use the following procedure to set the Microphone 1 level.
NOTE: Network is required to connect to the web interface of the CA300 (SX20 codec).

User Interface

  1. Using the system remote control, press Home to display the Home Menu.
  2. Navigate through the menu system as shown below using the directional pad (arrows) and OK (check) on the remote:  HOME -> SETTINGS -> ADMINSTRATOR SETTINGS -> AUDIO INPUT LEVELS
  3. Select 'Microphone 1' and use the Right Arrow to increase the Microphone 1 level to +14 db.

NOTE: We recommend +14 db but you may choose any level that you feel is appropriate for your environment.

  4. Select 'Save' with the fifth Softkey found at the top of the remote control buttons.

NOTE: The five Softkeys correspond to the five onscreen button icons along the bottom of the display.

  5. Press the red 'Disconnect button' to exit the menu structure after the microphone level has been saved. The procedure is now complete.
