New Report: On Call Schedule Audit Extract
In order to maintain compliance with federal requirements for CMS and EMTALA, we have a new report that provides an audit trail of what calendar time was changed when and by whom. When this report is enabled, the calendar change history, including what the entry was prior to the change, is logged with such edits made over time.
Added "Interpreter Services" as call participant option
We recognize the need for language services from time to time, and in order to simplify and enhance your experience connecting to a language service provider, we've added the ability to configure "Interpreter Services," using your organization's selected language service provider(s), so you can easily locate and add an interpreter to a call in progress.
When selecting Add Participant while in a call, a new option called "Interpreter Services" can be available for when you need to add an interpreter to the call. This new feature is available wherever the option to add participants is available.
NOTE: These entries support international numbers, 1-800 numbers, and SIP addresses. These entries are non-registered clinical participants and will NOT appear in Directory or in Settings.
The availability of these non-registered clinical participants within the clinical portal is dependent on the entries created in the enterprise portal. Please consult with your Avizia Customer Success Team or Implementation Manager to learn more about enabling this feature.
Additional languages added to Patient Education Materials
It may be needed that a patient is provided relevant patient education materials upon discharge. In the event you have an encounter with an international or non-English speaking patient, we have now added the ability to attach patient education materials in their native language.
When you are in the Attach Discharge Documents window, you can search for the material you wish to attach, as well as select one of the following languages the material is translated:
- Canadian French
- Haitian Creole
- Traditional Chinese
Archive option when completing a case
When you select Complete and the Verify and Complete popup appears, you now have the option to click a checkbox at the bottom right to also allow you to archive the case upon hitting the Confirm button.
This action will archive the case and return you to the All Cases page.
