American Well Touchpoint mobile app

Added NIHSS evaluation images to share via video

To increase speed to stroke assessment, we have embedded the NIH Stroke Scale as part of the workflow in a video call. Pressing the NIHSS button will present a series of images which can be scrolled through during patient evaluation. What the patient will see on the far end is their screen with the evaluation images.

NOTE: This feature is available for our mobile users only; this feature will be rolled out in stages to ensure proper interaction with the entire platform.

___

Changed "Clinic" to "Portals"

We have changed "Clinic" to "Portals" for alignment across the platform and the broader base of use cases.

Correct Workflow Notification Settings for users based on user privilege settings

We have addressed an issue where some users were seeing Notification Settings for their workflow beyond the site privileges set for them. While enabled settings were not actually providing notifications for those users, the irrelevant settings were, however, creating confusion when viewing their personal settings.

Per each user's site privileges, they will no longer see workflow notification settings options that do not pertain to them.

American Well Touchpoint GO for Ascom

Added a security message alert when attempting to open non-image files

Though Touchpoint GO allows users to receive non-image files like DOC, XLS, PDF, PPT, etc., the app does not allow the user to download and open them. We have added an alert message when the user attempts to access a non-image file.

Touchpoint GO can access the following filetypes: JPG, JPEG, PNG, GIF, BMP, MP4, WebM

___

Message read receipts

Messages will now provide information as to who and when each message was read.

  • 1:1 user
Users will see a read receipt beneath the text message.
The user can click on read receipt to show details — User(name), Read on (ccyy-mm-dd-timestamp)
  • 1:2+ users
User can click on read receipt to show details — User(name), Read on (ccyy-mm-dd-timestamp)

NOTE: Read Receipts may look different on the iOS and Android devices compared to the Ascom devices due to limited screen size.
