_____

Added Stroke Thrombectomy form

We have added a new Stroke Thrombectomy form for Touchpoint to work inline with the same form we have recently released on the Clinical web. With the new 2018 stroke guidelines, the timeframe for performing an endovascular treatment, thrombectomy, has increased from 6 hours to 24 hours from stroke onset. This means that more ischemic stroke patients will be evaluated for thrombectomy.

This form must be added from Enterprise Management. From there you can enable or disable the form, as well as set requirements for: Show by default, Signature required, Allow multiple, and Internal only. Please speak to your Implementation Manager for more details.

Added Hemorrhagic Stroke Evaluation form

A new Hemorrhagic Stroke Evaluation form for Touchpoint to work inline with the same form we have recently released on the Clinical web. This provides Neurologist or Neurointerventionalists with the ability to evaluate a patient that is suspected to have a hemorrhage as part of the Telestroke workflow. The scales include: Glasgow Coma, ICH, Spetzler-Martin, Fisher Grading, Hunt and Hess.

This form must be added from Enterprise Management. From there you can enable or disable the form, as well as set requirements for: Show by default, Signature required, Allow multiple, and Internal only. Please speak to your Implementation Manager for more details.

_____

Activate NIHSS Stroke Images button based on workflow enablement

The NIHSS icon is currently available on all forms for all users, which is providing some confusion for Touchpoint users. This feature can now be enabled from the Enterprise management portal. When enabled, only users authorized through the Telestroke workflow form will see the icon on Touchpoint and on Clinical Web.
