Send Quick Connect invites from the Directory

You can now send Quick Connect > Directory invites to reach providers via SMS and email. This offers an additional channel to reach providers, particularly (but not only) for recipients that are offline and would otherwise not see the invite.

NOTE: This is accomplished through a guest invite via SMS and email that pre-populate the Directory call recipient’s name in the guest invite join page, allowing the provider the benefit of quickly joining calls without authenticating themselves. While the guest invite allows the provider to join quickly, this limits the provider to participate in only that one call with the limited rights of a guest.

In order for the Quick Connect > Directory invited participant to receive these additional notifications to join a call, they MUST have email and/or SMS notifications turned ON in the following places in Me > Profile & Account in both the Notifications and Contact Preferences tabs:

If the Quick Connect > Directory invited participant has notifications turned off for all of Email, SMS, and messages for Touchpoint, the sender of the invite will receive a warning that the invited provider cannot be contacted via any of these channels.

NOTE: There is a known issue where the sender will not receive this warning if both Email and SMS settings are not set to ALWAYS under in Notification > Manage Notifications > Messages > Details.

NOTE: While the invited provider will join quickly as a guest, reporting will track them as a provider when they are invited via Quick Connect > Directory.

__________

Add Participant Reporting

With the addition of the ability to invite registered but offline recipients via SMS/Email through the Quick Connect > Directory option (refer to the preceding feature above), your reports will now capture the Directory guest invite as a provider — the invited participant is treated like a guest (limited functionality) but reported as a Provider.

__________

Changed Cellphone and First & Last Name to optional fields in Profile page

We have removed Cellphone and the Name fields as a mandatory entry within the Clinical Portal. This affects the web and mobile platforms. These fields are not required when provisioning the initial user account.

__________

Improved usability of left sidebar for scale for calendars on Clinical Portal

We have made some improvements to the left sidebar in the Calendar view. These are mainly cosmetic changes and no changes have been made that will affect your workflow.

__________

Added a static notice about print orientation requirements

We have added a note in the Oncall Calendar print modal to remind users to set the printer setting to Landscape when printing out the schedule.
